I enjoy smoking but I also want to quit smoking

Smoking is just simply burning your hard earned money into ashes. Spending money to  quit smoking is worse as you have already burned enough.

Here I'll tell you the easiest method to quit smoking just because at last this idea worked the magic for me to say no to smoking for ever. Let this idea benefit many and lets all live a healthy life.

It is a fact that 100% of smokers have frequent thoughts to quit smoking. 95% of them must have tried and failed as it was the same with me too. Sometimes we are saddened about not being able to quit smoking. The disability to quit smoking sometimes irritates us. Even we try to reduce the count hoping we can quit it completely one day. But I assure you this method is not going to work at all.

It is easy to quit smoking in initial stages but it is not the same for people who have been in to the habit for years. It is more worse for chain smokers.

Normally smokers do it for a mental relax. Hectic work hours will urge them to have a smoke in between for a quick relax. As they feel the relax smoking becomes a habit very soon. The count of cigarettes get increased day by day. Once it becomes a habit and you know it is a bad habit you want to quit it. But by then quitting becomes tougher. You try it but fail miserably. Later you want to quit but don't even dare to try as you find it impossible. You're afraid you may fail again. You admire people who have quit smoking.

In my own experience to quit smoking I couln't withstand more than a day. But one day an idea sparked in my mind and impossible become possible. I quit smoking. How?????????


Quit Smoking, Its Easy. Yes it is

There are three things which you have to make sure to yourselves before you start the quit smoking process.

  1. Decide the day you are Going to start the process
  2. Once you start it you must not fall to the urge to have just one cigarette. Because if you lit that one cigarette you are sure to get back to the habit. Give a damn to this one cigarette urge.
  3. Be Calm and avoid tensions till your confidence level increase. (3 - 7 days will be more than enough).

The spark to quit Smoking

After many failures this idea is what did the magic. Here it is for you all. Its easy. Practice and you will succeed.

There came a rule in my country that all cigarette packs must carry a picture of cancer on its cover. This made me think a bit. My plan to quit smoking was inspired from this. Below is what i practiced to quit smoking.

Go sit before your computer. Open your internet browser. Type google.com. Make a image search for Lung cancer or mouth cancer. Mouth cancer must be the best choice. You'll get some deadly pictures on your screen.

Now select the picture you cant even look at. Make a ID Card size colour print of that picture. Laminate it if possible and keep it in your wallet.

Each time the urge to smoke comes in your mind take a look at the picture in your wallet. . What happens when you look at the picture is that your mind gets distracted and the thought to have a smoke shifts to fear of cancer. Once the thought is distracted your urge to smoke dies. Practicing this more efficiently will help you quit smoking easily.

It is better to change the picture every two days. Go for more dreadful pictures. The urge to smoke will vanish. Each time the urge comes follow the same. In a few days the love for cigarette will transform to hate.

I've long held that no support group, no pill, no process, other than the absolute readiness and desire on the part of the smoker to quit smoking will ever be effective. It's the moment you wake up and snub out that last cigarette and say, "I'm done." It's why forced rehab never works either. If the person is not ready to quit something, they won't. They may go dormant for a spell, but ultimately they'll revisit their old habits again.
